This luxurious master bathroom features full-mirrored walls, granite-topped maple vanities, a Roman soaking tub in the window bay and a freestanding glass shower with floor-to-ceiling Italian mosaic tile. Taupe and gray accents create a relaxing, yet elegant feel, while traces of woven and light wood details add a comfortable and coastal quality to the room.
“The details are not the details. They make the design.” -Charles Earnes

Whether the details are subtle as flooring position changes using the same material, or boldly stated with bright accessories popping off a neutral color scheme, the details are what make a calculated design into a warm, beautiful home.
At Design West, we take pride in the details. Adding an accent band at the bottom of an otherwise neutral window panel and a fun toggle detail to a straight cornice (ornamental molding around the wall of a room below the ceiling) really livens up the windows treatments in this nautical inspired guest bedroom.
The double chair rail wall detail with wallpaper between also adds a pop of interest on neutral walls – not to mention the creation of a “niche” for wall art display!
